Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano, born and raised in Brooklyn and Staten Island, comes from an Italian-American family with a fashion designer mother and a film music editor father. At the age of seven, she was chosen from 1500 girls for the role of July in the first national tour of "Annie" and later gained recognition for her energetic and charismatic acting in off-Broadway productions and TV commercials. Her breakthrough role came at age 10 in the sitcom Who's the Boss?, where she played Tony Danza's daughter, Samantha Micelli. In order for her to accept the role, her family had to relocate to Hollywood.
