Brigitte Helm

German-born actress who gained fame for her leading roles in multiple films, including the iconic Metropolis (1927), successfully transitioning to sound films until her final work, An Ideal Spouse (1935). She passed away in Ascona, Switzerland on June 11th, 1996, due to heart failure.
