Bruce Bennett

Herman Brix was an Olympian shot-putter who lost the lead in MGM's Tarzan film due to injury. He later acted in independent productions, changed his name to Bruce Bennett, and had a successful career as a leading man in Warner Bros. films before retiring and becoming a sales manager. Despite being reclusive, he occasionally appeared in TV guest roles and made a few public appearances towards the end of his life.
