Buster Keaton

Buster Keaton

Joseph Frank Keaton, born in 1895, had a unique upbringing as the child of Vaudevillian comedians. He entered the film industry through a chance encounter with Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle. Keaton went on to have a successful career as an actor, producer, and director, making iconic silent films such as "Sherlock Jr." and "The General." However, his career declined after his contract was sold to MGM, and he faced personal hardships, including a divorce and alcoholism. Despite these challenges, Keaton's talent was rediscovered in the 1940s, and he continued to work in the industry until his death in 1966. Keaton's films have gained recognition and continue to be appreciated by audiences today.
