Carole Lombard

Carole Lombard, born Jane Alice Peters in 1908, rose to fame in the 1920s and became known for her comedic talents, earning an Oscar nomination for her performance in "My Man Godfrey" in 1936. Tragically, she died in a plane crash at the age of 33 in 1942.
