Donna Reed

Donna Reed, born in Denison, Iowa, in 1921, started her career after winning a beauty contest in her small town. She later became a successful actress in Hollywood, starring in films such as "Shadow of the Thin Man" and "It's a Wonderful Life." She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in "From Here to Eternity" and went on to have her own TV series, "The Donna Reed Show." Reed passed away in 1986 but left a lasting legacy through the Donna Reed Foundation for the Performing Arts.
