Edie Falco

Edith "Edie" Falco is an accomplished actress of Italian and Swedish, English, and Cornish descent, best known for her Emmy and Golden Globe-winning role as Carmela Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos. She has had a successful career in both film and television, often playing roles on either side of the law. Additionally, Falco has been recognized for her stage work and is described as shy yet witty and down-to-earth. She has battled and recovered from breast cancer and has adopted two children.
