Elizabeth McGovern

The daughter of a law professor, she began acting in school plays before attending the American Conservatory Theatre and The Juilliard School. Known for her role in Ordinary People, she also earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Ragtime. She continues to balance stage and screen work, with notable performances including a production of "Sunset at the Villa Thalia" at the National Theatre of Great Britain in 2016.
