Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer, a British actress, was born in Hammersmith, London, to writer Sir John Mortimer and Penelope Gollop. She studied at St Paul's Girls' School and Lincoln College, Oxford, and made her acting debut in "The Glass Virgin." She has appeared in films such as "The Ghost and the Darkness," "Elizabeth," "Match Point," "Shutter Island," and "Hugo." Mortimer met her husband, Alessandro Nivola, while filming "Love's Labour's Lost," and they have two children together.
