Francis Ford Coppola

Francis Ford Coppola, a Detroit-born filmmaker from a creative Italian-American family, is known for directing films such as The Godfather and Apocalypse Now, as well as for his work with independent film production company American Zoetrope. He has also produced various successful films and helped launch the career of Nicolas Cage.
