John Rhys-Davies

John Rhys-Davies, a Welsh actor known for his roles in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, was born in Ammanford, Wales, and raised in England, Africa, and Wales. He studied at the University of East Anglia and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. His television credits include Shogun, Noble House, Great Expectations, War and Remembrance, and Archaeology. He also has a passion for vintage automobiles and has had various theater roles. He currently splits his time between Los Angeles and the Isle of Man.
