Liev Schreiber

Liev Schreiber, born in San Francisco, comes from a diverse background, with a father from an upper-class Protestant family and a mother from a working-class Jewish family. Despite a difficult upbringing in which he and his mother lived as squatters in abandoned buildings, Schreiber's mother played a crucial role in his education, teaching him to read and nurturing his love for silent and black & white movies, particularly those of Charles Chaplin. Today, he is known for his successful career as an actor, starting with his studies at Hampshire College and later at the Yale University School of Drama.
