Lorraine Gary

Lorraine Gary, born on August 16th, 1937 in New York and raised in Los Angeles, achieved fame for her portrayal of Sheriff Roy Scheider's wife in the "Jaws" films. Despite guest spots on various TV shows, she retired after her role in "Jaws: The Revenge" (1987) and has been married to MCA president Sid Sheinberg for 60 years. Her sons, Bill Sheinberg and Jonathan Sheinberg, are film producers. The character Lorraine Baines in "Back to the Future" (1985) was named after her.
