Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg, an American actor, successfully transitioned from teen pop idol to acclaimed actor. He has received critical acclaim for his performances in The Departed (2006), The Fighter (2010), and Ted (2012). Wahlberg grew up in a poor working-class district of Boston, dropped out of high school, and was involved in crime. He later turned his life around and found success in the music industry as Marky Mark. After a series of controversies, he decided to pursue acting and has since starred in a variety of films, showcasing his dramatic range.
