Martina Gedeck
Martina Gedeck, a Munich-born actress, studied drama at Berlin University of the Arts and has an extensive filmography across various genres. She has won 23 major cinema and TV awards and was nominated for Europe's best actress for "Mostly Martha," which was later remade with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Gedeck's films were twice selected as Germany's entry to the Oscars, including the 2007 winner for Best Foreign Language Film, "The Lives of Others." She also had the title role in Germany's Oscar contender, "The Baader Meinhof Complex," in 2009. Gedeck currently resides in Berlin, Germany.
