Mike Faist, a native of Columbus, Ohio, relocated to New York City at 17 to follow his passion for acting. He began selling tickets for Off-Broadway shows before making his Broadway debut in 2012's "Newsies: The Musical". Faist gained recognition for originating the role of Connor Murphy in the Broadway production of "Dear Even Hansen" in 2016, receiving a Tony Award nomination for his portrayal.
