Rachel House

Rachel House, an acclaimed New Zealand actor, writer, and director, will premiere her directorial debut film 'The Mountain' in Taranaki, New Zealand in 2024. She has received numerous awards for her directing, including for a Te Reo Maori production at the Globe Theatre in London. Rachel has a notable acting career in film, television, and theater, with appearances in popular projects such as 'Our Flag Means Death 2', 'Heartbreak High', 'Foundation', and 'Time Bandits'. She is also a celebrated voice artist and has worked as an acting coach for notable directors like Jane Campion and Taika Waititi. Rachel has received several awards for her contributions to the entertainment industry, including an Arts Laureate, NZ Order of Merit, 'Mana Wahine' from WIFT NZ, and Te Waipuna a Rangi.
