Roy Dotrice
Roy Dotrice, a British character actor, had an impressive career in classical theatre, film, television, and Broadway, known for his ability to play older roles. He was also well-known for his one-man shows and received a Tony award for his performance in "A Moon for the Misbegotten" in 2000. Dotrice made his movie debut in "The Heroes of Telemark" (1965) and appeared in films such as "Amadeus" (1984) and "The Cutting Edge" (1992). On television, he was recognized for his roles in "Beauty and the Beast" (1987) and "Picket Fences" (1992). Dotrice lived and worked primarily in America since the end of the 1970s and made his last TV appearances in "Game of Thrones" in 2012. He was married to actress Kay Dotrice for 60 years and has three daughters, Michele, Karen, and Yvette, who are all former actresses. Roy Dotrice passed away on October 16, 2017.
